Originally constructed in 1866, Malsis Hall is a grade II listed building located in Keighley, West Yorkshire, which operated as a school from 1920 until its close in 2014 – in 2018, a project to renovate the estate and convert it into a mental health rehabilitation and recovery service was undertaken by Seddon Construction.
Project Description: Met-Excel were appointed by Seddon to carry out a full refurbishment, renovation and restoration project of all internal works across the estate. Incorporating a system of design and installation that maintained the buildings history and character, Met-Excel's works included restoring the pre existing block work walls by either applying two coat plaster or dot and dabbing plasterboard onto the walls, as well as installing metal stud partitions, MF ceilings and suspended ceilings throughout the development.
