Project Description: Met-Excel was proud to be part of the St Mary’s Gate project in Stockport, a development consisting of 50 new build apartments. Situated in a rapidly developing area seeing significant investment, the development includes trendy apartments alongside a modern co-working space, catering to the needs of today’s urban professionals.

For this project, Met-Excel took the opportunity to innovate by using spray plaster, a method we hadn’t previously employed on a large scale. The switch from our traditional plastering methods to spray plaster was an exciting challenge, but the results have been excellent. The spray plaster provided a smoother, more consistent finish and reduced the time spent on site, leading to increased efficiency.

The success of this project has demonstrated that spray plaster can be effectively utilised on suitable projects going forward, opening up new possibilities for Met-Excel in future developments. The St Mary’s Gate project stands as a testament to our ability to adapt and innovate, ensuring high-quality results while embracing new methods to meet the evolving needs of the construction industry.
